Football Helmet asks Brandon Jacobs to consider an anger management class
The average weight of a football helmet is 6-8 pounds. Thats pretty heavy when you consider a 264 pound New York Giant running back hurled one about 10 yards in the stands Sunday night.
Brandon Jacobs who rushed for 8 yards on four carries became frustrated when yanked out the game by his coach, Tom Couglin. The giants lost the game 38-14 to Peyton Manning and the Colts, but it appears Jacobs lost something even more valuable, his cool.
No one was hurt in the incident, but Jacobs may find his wallet a little lighter once the case is reviewed by the NFL and the Comissioner. In addition to a stiff fine the NFL has been known to require a player to participate in anger management class when agression is dsiplayed off the field.
