Los Angeles County Superior Courts put there hopes in anger management classes

Los Angeles County Superior Courts continue to make orders to quality anger management providers. Anger management classes have become a staple intervention for individuals convicted of a variety of law violations. Such violations include: terrorist threats, racial attacks, assualts, weapons charges, resisting arrest, property damage, noise pollution and child abuse.
Defendants ordered to an anger management course can be required to attend between 10 and 52 sessions.
In addition to the criminal court many family and custody courts are requiring parents to attend a anger management class. Parents can learn effective communication skills, stress management techniques, and obtain greater emotional intelligence.
A variety of Public Defenders and private attorneys advise cleints to take an anger management class prior to a court appearance.
Daybreak Counseling Service has provided anger management certification for the following courts: San Bernadino, Orange County, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Riverside, Sacramento, Colorado and Louisiana
