Anger Management Course for local Sherrif Deputy
Joseph J. Catalano II a 33 year old San Bernadino county sherrif was convicted of disorderly conduct and assault He was sentenced Monday to serve five days in jail and two years of unsupervised probation for punching another person in front of a Lake Havasu City bar last summer.
Catalano was sentenced to two years unsupervised probation and 10 days in jail, five of which have been suspended pending his completion of an anger management course.
The assault was a result of a verbal exchange between Catalano and the victim earlier in the night within a bar on McCulloch Boulevard. The man Catalano punched was unconscious, bleeding and lying in the street when local police officers arrived.
