Now I know why they call it labor
I’m exhausted. I can only imagine how my wife must feel. We arrived at the hospital about 3pm on Thursday and her contractions were about 30 minutes apart. I had no idea that my son would not be born until 7:30 the next morning. (My first son came by c-section in about an hour) After being checked into the hospital wave after wave of contractions came. Some 30 minutes apart, some five minutes and finally every two minutes. The pain would crescendo. My wife is an emotional rock. My psychological integirty pales in comparison to hers, but at some point she almost lost her composure. That’s when we called for our freind Mr. Epidural. Thank you sir we owe you one.
After about 16 hours of labor with little to no sleep Tyus Aric Munford was born, all 8lbs and 12oz of him. I don’t know why God would give such a big child to little folk like us.
Now presenting Tyus Aric Munford and entourage.
