Ask Shannon: I’m a teacher and my school principal has problems
Ask Shannon:
What If you are a lead at a school? When you have concerns about employees and your boss will not answer or deal with the situation!?
Answer:
One of the most difficult things to deal with is a situation that is out of our control. If you are a lead at your school you are most likely very competent and and passionate about what you do. You probably expect a lot of yourself and the people around you but this may be one situation that is out of your control. To try to change the unchangeable will only frustrate you and make you more angry. Instead of focusing on your boss try to lead by example knowing your effective teaching style is a gift to your students and the other staff that are watching you.
